Translating Saudi Driving Licences for Australian Purposes
Saudi driving licences are issued by the Saudi Traffic Directorate (المرور) under the Ministry of Interior. The modern Saudi licence is a credit-card format with Arabic and English text, showing the holder's name, photo, licence categories and validity dates.
Both sides of the Saudi licence contain relevant information. The front shows personal details and the Saudi Traffic seal; the reverse shows vehicle categories. Saudi licences issued to foreign workers (on Iqama) may have additional notations.
