Meeting Department of Home Affairs Translation Requirements
The Department of Home Affairs requires that all Arabic documents submitted as part of a visa or citizenship application be translated by a NAATI certified translator. This requirement applies to all visa subclasses — partner visas (820/801, 309/100), skilled migration visas (189, 190, 491, 482, 186), student visas (500), humanitarian and refugee visas, parent visas, and citizenship by conferral applications.
Every Arabic translation we provide includes a NAATI certification statement from the translator, confirming their NAATI credential number, credential level and the accuracy of the translation. This is the format accepted by the Department of Home Affairs. We translate all Arabic documents required for visa applications — birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, police clearances, national ID cards, passports, academic transcripts and employment records.
